We strongly recommend using rideshare services for better parking convenience, especially if you plan to drink. Please respect your surroundings and keep noise to a minimum. Do not disturb the office tenants, as they work there seven days a week.
– Valet Parking.** $25 per car. 2801 West Coast Hwy, Newport Beach, CA 92663.
– Inform the valet you are with OC Boat Rentals.
– **Pay by App City Lot.** 139 Riverside Ave, Newport Beach, CA 92663, behind the Wells Fargo.
– Wait at the top of the dock ramp between Billy’s and Louie’s restaurants for escort to the docks.
The OC Boat Rentals Marina is located at 2801 West Coast Hwy., Newport Beach, CA 92663
We utilize the same parking lot as Billy’s At The Beach and Louie’s By The Bay Restaurants, there’s valet parking which is around $25 per car (Please keep cars to 2 maximum per rental and we highly recommend using Uber or Lyft). You can find free parking off of Riverside Ave. but it is a little bit of a walk.
We know you love having windows on your Duffy boat Newport Beach, and we do too! Roughly 50% of our boats have wrap-around windows.
We openly accept requests for a boat with windows via text message or direct contact with an OC Boat Rental Representative. We will notate your request and do our best to provide you with the requested boat. These are all available on a first-come, first-served basis and are not guaranteed to anyone.
Please remember that we try to balance a great customer experience with the best price in the business! Windows are expensive and must be replaced annually, so the more gently our customers handle our windows, the more boats we’ll be able to equip!
Yes! All of our boats are equipped with Auxilary, USB, and Bluetooth inputs for you to listen to your music using a standard 3.5mm headphone cable, USB cable of your choosing, or Bluetooth Wireless technology. While we aim to have cables available on-hand for all of our customers, they are often stolen leaving us without cables for the next guests. As such, it’s a great idea to bring your own cable. The USB receptacles are designed to charge any devices plugged into them, however we have found that this works better with some devices (iPhones) than others.
Yes! We welcome dogs of all breeds, but do kindly remind you that if we have to do ANY extra cleanup as a result of having “REX” on board, we reserve the right to charge a minimum of $50 as a pet cleaning fee!
Yes!
For your convenience, we recommend using restrooms before arriving and at all public docks while out on the water. We have limited restroom space, and lines can be long. Extra time cannot be given due to late arrival for waiting for the restrooms.
Please ask our dockhands for restroom locations. Options include:
– Emergency restrooms on site (ask our Dockhand as they are locked)
– Billy’s at the Beach (for paying customers only)
Yes. In order to rent a boat on your own, you must be 21 years of age or older, including Duffy boat rentals. There is no age minimum for passengers with an adult renter. Anyone under the age of 13, however, is required to wear a coast guard approved life vest. If you have children with you, we advise bringing any life jackets you may have for them. We stock 20+ of our own, but if we were to run out, we would be unable to send children out without them.
Yes! We have them in all sizes to accommodate anyone from newborn to adult. In the unlikely event we were to run out of our children’s life jackets, we would not be able to send out any children under age 13 until we had a life jacket returned for them to use. Therefore, we strongly encourage bringing your own life jacket for your children if you have one. Children under 13 require life jackets at ALL times.
Yes! Our occupancy limits are strictly set and regulated by the United States Coast Guard. The occupancy ratings of our boats are based on the number of souls onboard which DOES include children and infants.
Yes! There are no open container laws prohibiting possession or consumption of alcohol on your boat or other vessel. It is important to note, however, that the same laws apply to the captain as the driver of a motor vehicle; If you’re over the CA legal limit, you can receive a DUI.
Lockers: We do not have lockable lockers, nor is OC Boat Rentals responsible for anything left on the docks. While we have NEVER had an issue with theft, we cannot make any guarantees as to the safety of your belongings while you’re out on your rental. As such, we suggest leaving as many items as possible in your car.
Changing rooms: No. We do not have changing rooms, however we have very nice bathrooms for our customers, located in next to our office inside 2801 W. Coast Hwy on the 2nd floor.
Not yet! All of our stereos have (1) 5V USB plug, in addition to Bluetooth capabilities. This receptacle will charge MOST phones, but due to differences in brands, the quality of the cable being used, etc., we do not guarantee that they will charge ALL devices. We currently do not have any 110V (household) charging outlets.
24+ Hrs in advance = No Penalty
Customers will receive a full refund or credit for cancellations with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice prior to the start time of the reservation. For holidays and holiday weekends, customers will receive a full refund or credit for cancellations with a minimum of 72 hours’ notice prior to the start time of the reservation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by email to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
During check-in, please present a valid driver’s license for the renter, along with a matching ID and the credit card used for payment. Please ensure that the renter and all passengers have signed the agreement link provided in the email confirmation.
